Idan Ravin - The Hoops Whisperer

I dropped Mr Idan Ravin a line a week or 2 ago to ask if he would like to get involved in the Coaches Summit. The modesty of the man was evident immediately.

“How did you come across my book”.  I told him that I spend hours on amazon looking for books. Rarely do I read the reviews or even the description. If the name catches the eye and has a ring to it, that’ll do.

“Did it surprise you?”, he responded.

“Very much”.

I was expecting some long time basketball coach to tell his stories of helping a player to be able to shoot better, or play better etc.

What I learned was a fascinating story of a man that transferred his career through his passion for the game!

From law, to basketball. CP, LeBron, KD, Melo, Steph and many more have turned to Idan to rebuild, renovate or transform their game.Idan has appeared in the Wall St Journal, New York Times, The Boston Globe and pretty much every other major publication.

While maintaining that his work tells the real story.Idan is going to share some of his journey and coaching principles.

This is an inspiring story of a self made, dedicated and hard working man. Showing us what is possible if you chase your dreams and do the work!

Jayson Mathiou - Physiotherapist World #1 Ranked Doubles Tennis Pair

Jayson has had a lifetime of sport. Watching his Dad play Rugby League throughout his childhood. To becoming an elite junior golfer, while studying multiple degrees.

Starting out with a gig on the WPGA tour, that built a strong reputation. Led to a chance to become a Physio for a Columbian doubles pair.

As a young person in the Pro Sports world there are a lot of naysayers. There are people questioning your value. I’ve been there myself. Jayson has worked with champions in multiple sports. Travelling the world working in sports sounds glamorous, maybe it is. But, it does not come without significant obstacles.

This is another great story of chasing the dream. Making passion become profession!
