Stephen Goses

Australia

Stephen’s journey and fascination with flexibility training started at the end of 2016.

At the time he had been nursing a lower back injury that left him side lined and in pain for over 6-months. He started to dive into yoga, making that a regular practice for a few months and pain subsided gradually. When he saw that his body was actually capable of opening up into new range of motion he became more curious about other methods around gaining more range.

His curiosity drove him deeper into more focused flexibility protocols like loaded stretching techniques and ballistic stretching protocols that were inspired by the likes of GymnasticsBodies, Ido Portal and Emmet Louis.

He saw incredible results come from this style of training which he attributes to completely ridding of lower back pain. Stephen has thus far unlocked full chest to floor pancake, full front splits, vertical arm back bridge, and most recently the elusive head to toe! Since gaining more Range of Strength, injury and the ability to move his body without any restrictions has not been an issue!

The Range of Strength Certification really helped him solidify what he had learned in his own practice over the years and has taught him how to apply these same methods with a more structured, well developed standardized approach.

Stephen says, “Lucas has really developed something special here and is a one of the top leaders in applied flexibility training. I couldn’t fault anything throughout my entire experience during the ROS course and I can truly say that I have gained a wealth of knowledge!

Riley Reynard

United States

Riley chose to take this course because flexibility has always been a big area of interest to but hasn’t come easily. Through trial and error Riley was able to figure out what worked for him but still had a hard time applying what he learned to teaching others and before finding ROS and RMVT he hadn’t been able to find a legitimate practical and standardized educational system or approach to flexibility training.

Riley says “Range of Strength is leading the way in this regard and I’m glad to have got on board early!”

One of Keagan’s biggest take aways from the certification was the importance of building strength through length and not approaching flexibility as just a passive tertiary pursuit.

Nicks Wilson

South Africa

Nicks Wilson is a Hip hop and Acro dance teacher from South Africa. Giving children opportunities that she never had growing up and ensuring a high standard of work is a driving force behind her teaching. She's also the founder of an online mobility program with a passion to improve people's overall well being by providing quality instruction, encouragement and support to anybody who has the goal of working towards pain free joints and flexibility improvement.

The exploration of a coach's own body and ability is highly underestimated, and the Range of Strength course provides an incredible opportunity for coaches to do this while gaining knowledge in the most comprehensive way. "I've been able to grow physically, mentally and academically during the study period and overcoming painful restrictions in my own body has made me a better teacher."

Jamie Sangster

Australia

Jamie has had 6 years in the industry, with training experience and knowledge gained across multiple domains including Strongman, Powerlifting, Olympic lifting, Crossfit and Movement. Jamie is a big believer in “the devils in the detail” and “you don’t know what you don’t know” which has him always working to learn and share with the world. Before Range of Strength Education was developed and he was experimenting with mobility and flexibility.

Through experimentation, he overcame shoulder bursitis, torn ligaments in his lower back and patella tendinitis. Everyone used to just say he was just naturally that flexible. Truth be told, Jamie was 115kg and not able to touch his toes when he was 15. Range of Strength was the access to a process he could learn, experiment, and share with the world. Through the Certification, he has made available to himself and clients the pancake, bridge, front splits and pain free movement.

He now understands the process and how to make it a single method of training into any ones movement practice. Any coach should be a representation of their product and Jamie can now walk the talk and share his suppleness with the world!

michel luers.png

Michel Lüers

Germany

In 2016, Michel first started to work hard on flexibility after playing soccer for several years. He found himself immersed in training towards side split, learning many lessons along the way and experimenting with countless different methods.
For some time he was working only with the classic passive stretching and was missing the development of strength through range of motion. While he got to a decent level in of flexibility he was still struggling to teach others due to lack of systems that gave him a clear path. There were so many different approaches and strategies that only focused on certain aspects.

This is where Range of Strength came into play. Range of Strength has offered him a systematic and holistic approach to flexibility training for everyone and is teaching him how to pass this knowledge on to clients.

Davor Cvijic

Canada

Davor has a passion for coaching and helping others live their best lives! After suffering several serious injuries from both athletics and weight training, Davor went down a path to search for a better way. His path led him down many pathways including studying Charles Poliquin's methods and exploring the movement culture.

Eventually coming across the Range of Strength protocols he knew that Lucas and the Real Movement team were on to something special. He decided to experiment on himself and put the protocols to test… the results did not disappoint. “I have been trying various flexibility and mobility methods for years and have never seen these types of results in this timeframe. I will be including Range of Strength protocols in my own and all my clients’ training going forward. The results are undeniable."

brian rocac.png

Briac Roquet

France

Briac wasn’t the most athletic in early life but found a passion for martial arts practice in the 2nd half of his teens. After discovering GymnasticBodies in 2013, he dove hard into training and quit language studies to become a coach.

Briac took the Range of Strength Certification to get to the next level! He was always sold on flexibility and worked hard for it from his 20s, but felt the methods he was using were lacking the last piece of the puzzle. Briac thinks other coaches should take the certification because formal education is severely lacking in the flexibility department. Coaches will learn how to dispel some of the myths around flexibility, get better themselves to help them lead by example and have athletes pick this low-hanging fruit.

Joel Schulte.png

Joel Schulte

Australia

Joel has been a teacher for 9 years in Queensland high schools with an additional emphasis on promoting staff well-being in recent years. Despite facing massive physical health challenges early in life, Joel grew up with an intense passion for health and fitness. He studied a bachelor of education majoring in Health and Physical Education because of this enthusiasm for helping people find and develop their own passions in sport, exercise and healthy decision making.

Joel started working on flexibility years ago after getting over the mindset that it was only for certain types of people. He quickly realized the benefits for performance and everyday life. However, he did noticed he was not progressing in flexibility after some time and decided to go deeper. This led him to the ROS certification through RealMVMT.

From applying what he has learned throughout the ROS education, he has been able to achieve strength in ranges he would previously have dreamed of! Joel says “This certification has taught me how to manipulate parts of my body and work specifically to optimize physical movement and ability.”
